An old boyfriend of mine had a dog named Fava. We meet in Humboldt Park, the actual park, while we were both “walking” our dogs. They immediately started playing with each other and he and I started talking. The next day I went back to Humboldt Park at the same time hoping to see him again. He did the same thing and that’s how the whole thing got started♥️

That's fantastic! Especially because it centers around the word. Thank you for sending this. And I am glad the word and the bean gave you such good luck!

Oh ya…this was many years ago but this guy was hot! He was younger than me, he was a bike messenger and he was in a band. What more do you want? All the girls were jealous of me😆

I'm sure he was the fortunate one.

I have never even seen a fava bean in real life. This was a great article Martin. And poor Pliny the Elder. I always kinda liked him.

They are versatile creatures... I feel bad for Pliny too. Bright guy, but not when it came to taking vacations. Thanks for reading dear and for your kind words!
